The Citizen's Police Academy provides a look into the operations of the Terrell Police Service. Its purpose is to provide
information to citizens about law enforcement so that they may make informed judgments about the men and women that serve
them while these same men and women learn what the citizens anticipate as their role in the community.
Through the sharing of information, citizens learn about law enforcement while law enforcement learns from the citizens. It
basically a win-win situation, everyone, both citizens and law enforcement, learns more about each other. Together, they form
a team where they both serve their community.
